What is Freemasonry all about?
Freemasonry is - at its core - pretty simple; it's a
philosophy. Freemasons believe in living a life that is tolerant and
respectful of others' beliefs. We believe in the importance of education
and of improving ourselves as human beings. We believe in personal freedom
tempered by personal responsibility. We believe in helping people in need
through quiet (usually anonymous) charity.
Freemasonry is a fraternal organization that has a
"theme" based on the stonemasons who built the grand buildings and
cathedrals of the Middle Ages. The Masonic system uses symbolism and
allegory (stories) to explain the principles of Freemasonry to those good men
who seek to take the philosophy seriously.

Some people say that Freemasonry is a secret
society. But then why would we have a website? You be the judge.
